How the models work

Expected goals and shot attempts, not just the standings, because the standings carry a lot of luck.

Every idea is checked against seasons it never saw. If it doesn't beat the betting market there, it doesn't go in.

Picks are locked before the season and graded in June, out in the open. No moving the goalposts.
