NHL lines

Tonight's lines

How often each player has cleared his line lately, against tonight's opponent, and at home or on the road.

How to read a line
  • The line is a milestone, like "25+ points". For each player we show the milestone closest to a coin flip over his last 10 games, the way a fair market line sits near 50%. Turn on alt lines to also see the next milestone down.
  • Hit in 7 of last 10 games: his last 10 games, across seasons. The window is always 10. We never pick the window that makes the number look best.
  • vs opponent: every game against tonight's opponent in the last two seasons, up to 10.
  • Home / away: his last 10 games at home (or on the road), matching tonight's venue.
  • ๐Ÿ”ฅ in a row: how many straight games he's cleared it. Consistency (the default sort) pools the three rows, and pulls small samples toward 50%.
  • Once a game is final, each card shows what actually happened (โœ“ or โœ—).

Players come from each team's recent rotation (top 10 skaters by recent points and shots). Injury tags come from the official injury report when one is available.
